News & Insights from the Boomer
Project
|
Dear Matt,
It's been a busy fall
for the Boomer Project, having traveled more than 30,000 miles
(or 7,000 miles further than the diameter of the Earth) giving
presentations, consulting and educating marketers about
today's Boomer Consumer.
It's time we checked in with
all 4,400 subscribers of this newsletter and provided you with
a quick update before the holiday season kicks in next week.
Remember, the easiest way to stay on top of all the
important news and our commentary on new efforts targeting
Boomers, subscribe to our new blog, Boomer Consumer :: The
Blog.
Just put in your email address in the box on the right
side of the Blog and you'll get an email on those days we post
something new. |
Green Boomers National Research
Study
It's time the two biggest
trends in marketing -- the Green Movement and Boomers --
intersect.
And we plan to be right in the middle of
it.
The Boomer Project, SIR Research, and BCF, a brand
communications firm that specializes in marketing to Boomers,
are fielding a large national study about the Green Movement
and Baby Boomers.
The study will explore perceptions
and attitudes about the Green movement among consumers of all
ages, with an emphasis on Boomers. We plan to identify any
gaps between what categories, companies and brands are trying
to do with their Green messaging and how consumers perceive
those messages.
Another goal is to develop a Green
segmentation schema for today's Boomer Consumer.
We are
talking with individual companies and organizations about
joining us in this effort, sponsoring the research, adding
their own question(s) and gaining full access to the
results.
If you know of a company or organization
interested in learning how they can get involved in this
ground-breaking national study, please contact Matt Thornhill at the Boomer
Project immediately. Space is
limited.
